the world lost a true genius today. Ed pink passed away today. At 92 years old I’m lucky enough to call the Pink family friends and Ed was definitely a great man. He made an impact on my grandfather, father and myself. Here is a prof my grandpa on the left Ed in the Center and McEwen on the right.

I’ve had the pleasure to meet Ed Pink while at their shop. Spent a considerable amount of time there as they built engines for Singer. While Ed sold the business to Tom while back, Ed would pop in. What a legend. May he rest in peace.

Ed built engines for so many different motorsports purposes, and all of them were winners. I bolted some of his Infiniti (Nissan) engines into IndyCar chassis, and a few more little four cylinder bad boys into USAC midgets.

The length and breadth of his career is an amazing story. Pink was truly one of the OGs of American racing. He'll be missed.

That's just about as much bad ass as you can fit in one picture. 3 heavy hitters of fuel cars, a cammer and even what appears to be a Tony Nancy hat cap 😍
That's the Baney & Prudhomme entry in '67. Soon after they grabbed sponsorship from Carroll Shelby, and it became the Shelby Super Snake.

The restored car is now in Bruce Canepa's collection.

I guess I skimmed over that. Thanks.
no problem, its shocking to see the pricing, those guys were at the top of their game and looking at the pricing is mind blowing. we have more than $325 probably close to double that in material for just the material on the last body we built.

The average guy working at Sears automotive was lucky to bring home a hundred bucks a week at that time.
