There was a Deal of The Day sale about a month ago through Amazon for a weighted blanket. I had a choice of a 25 or 30 pound blanket for a cal king bed, what’s 5 lbs. over that whole area? Let’s go with the 30 pounder. We got it a couple weeks ago and damn, a 30 lb blanket is friggen’ heavy, you just can’t throw it or kick off the sheets with this thing on, but I did get an awesome night’s sleep. I don’t know what it is about it, but sure makes me feel more rested, no waking up in the middle of the night. It took a couple of days to get used to it, but now I’ll always take a weighted blanket if it’s offered.

My kid also uses a weighted blanket and helps him sleep.

30 pounds geezus. We have a 15 pound one. I'm not a fan of it but it doesnt make you overly hot like 15 pounds of blankets. The wife loves it.

Wife loves it, I hate it.

We love ours. I only wish I would have gotten the 20 pounder instead of the 25.

Daughter has one and loves it. Wife got me one and I tried it for a few days and then said no thanks, very confining, Id like to be dead before they put me in a coffin.

I wear a mask for my sleep apnea, so I'm a back sleeper. It works great for me.

Learned something in this thread.
Never heard of weighted blankets. Good idea we’ll check them out.

We have heavy wool railroad blankets in the RV that the kids call headless hula blankets.
Shaun was the first to use them and the name stuck.
Dunno if they keep you warm it was 33f outside and Hula was cooking with a T on.
