I said it, never will or could there be a jury that had not been influenced in one way or another. I doubt you could find an uninfluenced jury from anywhere in the world.

This. With any future trial being negated too. Due to the circumstances, there is no way Chauvin can get a fair trial, which is a requirement of a complete conviction. Unless the courts somehow find a way around this and make him a sacrificial lamb to avoid mass chaos, Chauvin will eventually go free.

I actually think a lot of this was strategy on the part of the judge who had the case in front of him. Let the verdict come back guilty in his court so he's off the hook and let the circumstances drive Chauvin going free run their course elsewhere. Not his mess.
