Went “shrimping” 😬

I’m not a salt water boater by any means, but I’ve fished and caught (or shot) most every inland critter

that’s occupied the CONUS….



The opportunity arose for me today to accompany a couple guys to go out and cast a net for some shrimp.


Here on the St. Johns river, it’s fresh water, but the shrimp go between fresh and salt.



I know nothing about it, but it was a great evening on the water. All I know is, we didn’t get skunked, and I had oysters and scallops for dinner.

It was. Had a non emergent towboat call.

Had a guy with a busted prop. Went and got him to shore, rolled back home amd went chasin some shrimp.
