[WTB] Whaler style boat or V drive

I'm looking for a 20 to 21 whaler style boat or V drive if anyone is looking to sell or knows of one for sale. Turn key and I'd prefer a BBC/V-drive setup. My budget is around the boats that have 2 axle trailers. Can't afford the boats that display on triple axle trailers.

I'm looking for a whaler style boat if anyone is looking to sell or knows of one for sale. Turn key and I'd prefer a BBC/V-drive setup but will consider a BBC with a mercruiser style outdrive. I've been looking and it looks like Howard and Schiada made quite a few. What other manufactures made whaler style boats?

Campbell, Silverwing, Lavey, even at Rogers we made some but we just borrowed the Howard mold.

Bump. Still looking. I'de prefer a plain jane N/A engine. Would consider a turbo engine. Don't want to get involved with a blower motor.

The whalers are bitchen river boats. My uncle and my cousin both have silverwing whalers. One is a vdrive and one an I/o. I will keep an eye out for you. I really like the console against the rear bench rather than having jump seats and a motor box when it comes to interior set up.

I agree about having a rear bench. Motor box and 2 tiny seats doesn't make sense or look good.

Lee said Schiada built one with twins, Ive never seen it though. A big single modern outboard would be cool on one. You could have a seating area behind the drivers area and reliable power. I had a 22 Schiada myself, and had a lot of fun on it. Its still here in the keys, one of my buddies owns it.

Scott Steele said he would build them with jets. Only for sale to Parker boaters. That was his rule, if its for somewhere else its not for sale.

That is bad ass and probably a rush to drive considering the driver to driveshaft location. Unfortunately this would be in the triple axle trailer price range for me.

I have a 21 howard splash. 454 with a 8/71 bds blower, turbo 400 with a C500. I will try to get photos there on my old phone. Boat was built in 2002. I'm working on freshing up the engine right now. I have updated all the under water seals to D21 gear.
