What’s your favorite Tom Clancy book / movie / show?

Hunt for Red October is on right now. I like the new jack Ryan series but out of all the Tom Clancy stuff I think hunt for red October still my favorite. Straight up remote dropper when I come across it flipping channels…every time.

Jack Ryan on Amazon has been really good. I'm going to go with that with Hunt in a close second.

Red Storm Rising. Never a movie, and never will be, but it got rid of the Ryanverse for at least one outing.

Other than that, I think it would be Hunt for Red October, Clear and Present Danger, Without Remorse, and Rainbow Six. All the books, the movies (of the first two) are terrible abominations of the books.

And I absolutely will not watch any movie where John Clark is not a white guy just because Hollywood cant handle white heroes.

Rainbow Six! It's basically about what's going on right now with Covid, and they had a bitchin video game back in the day. I actually read the book after I played the game, good times.

Along the same lines is Clive Cussler. I love the whole dirk Pitt series. Have all the audio books.

Idk the entire Jack Ryan all the way into the Campus and Jr novels were real page turners. I found the series way late into it so was able to read in chronological order which made even better imho.
