My friend and I are looking for a tough working and comfortable pick up truck, we wanted to get the Chevrolet Silverado, but all the trims and models are freaking us out. There are the HD1500, HD2500, and HD3500 and I do not know what is all the big differences between these 3, and the next hard part is all the trims, like the LT or LTZ or what ever. Please tell me what is the difference between all the models and trims, or any suggestions to get which one of the model and trim. Thank you.

I can't help you with the trims...

but 1500= half ton, 2500= 3/4 ton 3500= 1 ton.

how much do you haul and how much do you tow.

If you tow more then 5k lbs get the 3/4 ton. more then 7500 get the 1 ton.

Agreed!! You get bigger brakes with the 3/4 ton & 1 ton...Important if you are towing.

Are you towing with it? If so, how much weight are you towing?

Is it gonna get a utility bed?

If we knew what you were gonna use it for, we could give you some suggetions on which model to get!
