… this song was written by John Martin for his ex girlfriend Joanie… After John’s passing, Joanie was left in charge of getting this album finished… She did a great job… And this song from the album is simply beautiful…

That is a beautiful song. I love the strings and orchestration behind in. That’s one of the things I love about the 60’s and 70’s music.

Netflix has a cool Creedence Clearwater documentary. At the end they play their full concert recorded at the London Royal Albert Hall in 1970.

The concert was so good, that I bought the vinyl record!

Dang, just found a 3-record Diana Ross & The Supremes set in our collection and the vinyl is in excellent condition. I didn't know my daughter bought this, I was bummed because Target had a cool, 20-greatest hits, limited edition 180 gram yellow vinyl record - but ot was sold out.

anyways, listening to Reflections on vinyl - but this is a great live performance, too

Just can't quite wrap my head around it. Seems there'd be some "interference effect."

(Maybe because what I like is "alternative," it follows that I don't like what it is an alternative to?)

I love the Dee Gees!

That's a great video and nice find, I like it! The blonde backup singer looks interesting...
Subscribed to the guy's YT channel - he has cool vids.

Speaking of disco...over this past weekend. :(

Cheese from the 80's, but I can watch Jennifer Beals all day long.

No woner it's a great song, Giorgio Moroder is legend.

RIP Irene Cara

This looks live and not a lip sync or dub over?

Been listening to vinyl all day.

Tried chasing down an annoying ground hum on a cartridge/stylus combo, got one of them straightened out.

Yesterday my Pretenders/Pretenders II colored vinyl came in, they are awesome.

Opened the 3X4 jangly set that I ordered several months back....they sound great (Bangles, the Three O' clock, Dream Syndicate, Rain Parade). Cool records...they cover each others songs.

In the 80's, some said Maria McKee would be the next Madonna...but then the wheels fell off her band.

Still, a great record from Lone Justice and what a cutie she was.

Later, on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack....If Love Is a Red Dress....damn she can sing, geesh. Can't wait to hear it on vinyl.
