I’d pay a few hundred at least I’m sure you could get more from the right buyer

Finish the resto on it. I think it's cool.

You see what old bikes are getting on BAT.com lately? Trail 70's are selling for $3500!

Normally you would pay someone $50 to haul it away, 2020 price who knows what people will pay. I had a brand new RM 100 back in the day, they had a 100 class you could race in before going to 125's. I will always remember that bike for the big dent it had on top of gas tank my balls left after a good get off.

I vote keep it!

But get on some of the vintage mx forums some of those guys will pay a ment for these old bikes. Some restore them and some buy them for spare parts!

Don’t sell it! In 1978 I was 10yrs old and had a 1974 Honda XR75 and wanted a Suzuki RM80 bad lol. [emoji23] brings back memories [emoji1303]
I was at Bert’s a few years ago and there is my exact XR75 on display above the checkout counter. I actually thought it might be my old bike. I asked Ron about it and offered to by it. He wouldn’t sell it.

I don't think its worth much in the condition its in. Parts for these old bikes can be hard to find and get expensive. If it was restored it would probably be worth money but as it sits its basically a project.

like 10 years ago I had some 1978 Bike I bought for a couple hundred bucks. It was a Thumper. Thing was a bitch to kick. I parted it out. In the end on Ebay and a few months, I wanna say I made about 2k! I shipped all over the world. It was a pain in ass, but I got it done eventually. Even down to a last bag of nuts and bolts.

78 RM80 was my second bike....I would say keep it and restore it....follow a couple vintage MX pages on Instagram and I am always blown away by the restores....get a warm feeling in my stomach when I see freshly restored 74-76 Elsinore 125 or 250...

My first bike i raced on was a xl70, got blown away so my Dad bought me a used tricked out xr75 from the owner of harbor city honda that his kid raced. It would take 10 minutes to start it and still got blown away by the 80's lol.

My first bike at nine was a Honda 50. My brother is two years older and had the same RM80. When I was older, rode it a bit. Sadly my mom donated them to a high school shop class. Keep it!
