sold my dualley bought a v6 suv...loved my truck hate suv
Thank you! [emoji173]You have some sweet ass rides Mrs DB.
Been wanting to get a V-series Caddy for a few years, but need those crazy prices to come down.
You can buy the average three year old CTS-V for 48% of sticker price according to an article I read the other day.
1997 Saturn. Paid 800$ for it 6 or 7 years ago. I’ve never washed it. I’ve never changed the oil. Has 204k now. When it blows up, I’ll take the plate off, walk home and buy another.
Did that thing go through rear tires? We had one of those and had that issue.
My commute is 30 miles each way, and having HOV access is a must for me. I have a Prius because it's cheap and gets my HOV lane access, but I will be looking to replace it with something else in the next 6 months or so. I have a deposit on a Tesla Model 3, but am also considering a Fusion Energi since that also gets me HOV lane access.
Have you tried the ECO setting for better gas mileage.2016 Covette Z51.
I am told these things get good mileage on the freeway at freeway speed just not with me behind the wheel. Plus my commute averages about 5 mph. I have a 11 mile commute.
I am getting ready to lease a new car. Thinking about either a CTSV, Escalade or Range Rover Sport S/C. Can’t decide.
If I get the CTSV maybe HVH can buyout the lease return?
Another Honda Civic (hatchback) driver here. 30 miles each way on the 210 at 38 to 43mpg round trip....38 to havasu. plenty of room with the hatchback and with the 174hp turbo it is not a dog...not my Z06, but not a dog...
Agreed. I made about $30k profit after paying for the car on my last commuter. Owned and drove it for 11 years, sold it for the exact amount I put down on it. I average about $600/month these days of tax free income from mileage after fuel, maintenance, and insurance are paid. So in my situation, I don’t want a company car and a gas card.
You'd better do something. That Model 3 isn't going to show up for at least two years, and that's if Tesla figures out how to build 5,000 a week.
In the first quarter they built 721 per week.
It depends on the reimbursment/milage program. Most companies the Car Allowance doesn't make sense compared to the Company Car option (for the reasons @highvoltagehands stated). Our Car Allowance program is great, but it is not an option if you drive more than 30,000 miles per year. I drive about 45-50,000 per year... So I have to use the fleet vehicle. 2018 Ford Taurus AWD. It only gets about 20mpg, but it is comfortable to drive and does great in the snow and ice. View attachment 635394
Your crazy if you drive that little thing. I would be claustrophobic in it.
I put my deposit down on April 1, 2016. The current delivery estimator for my Model 3 is May-July. Even if it slips a bit, I still expect to get the Model 3 by late summer. I've started seeing them around Phoenix over the last few weeks, so I think that they are starting deliveries in my area. I'm OK with waiting, but I don't know if I can stand the Prius for too much longer
Chevy volt. I drive 60 miles round trip a day, plug in at home and work. I use zero gas most weeks, and if I do use any it might be $5 for the month.
Another member took delivery of one about 3-months ago here in SoCal, but it's the only one I've seen on the road so far.
Also saw a new Ford Ranger with Mexican plates. FUGLY.
Yup, and I fit well. It even has back seat room enough to have 3 more adults in for a good long drive. That's a big man in a little car!
