    1. Its not clear what parts come with it. I'd ask if it has all the hardware.
    2. It's a 44 yr old boat, I'd check carefully if all the wood is good, or needs major work.
    3. Need lots more pictures
    4. Raysons are cool boats, if the hull is good and all the parts are there, $2,999 would not be that bad a deal.

    I didn't. "We" decided to do a complete bathroom remodel and recarpet the house. Sometimes I get a new toy, sometimes she uses the money wisely.

    Although a flatbottom would be a fun project, ideally I'll find a shallow V like a 19 Schiada or Howard. The weekend, and even evening, water conditions on our lake would exclude a flat most of the time.

    I just looked at a 1968 Schiada for 1,150, All I wanted was the 454
    Unfortunately the engine was in the rain last winter uncovered without a air filter.
    It turns over. But did not run.
    And it is out of a 1980's RV, no marine stuff.

    After doing a few project boats over the years I would say RUN like hell. LOL
