What ever happen to ski boats

Not far off from the condition of our old jet boat when we'd head to Park Moabi for a long weekend or week. Wish I had some pics but don't think I do. The old jet was kind of a beater but ran well and skied the holy shit out of that thing for many years. 460 ford with a jacuzzi w, just ran and ran and ran.

I know this is an ancient thread and all.. But I had to reply based on the overwhelming feelings of melancholy I felt watching the "good run" video and also reading some of the stories from 'old timers' - of which I am starting to become myself - born in 1971..

I didn't look at the date and started to read the thread. There is CC like he never left us. My best friend and I used to sleep in one of my first boats just like that. Happy and sad all at the same time, I miss you CC.
