Home made spaghetti The sauce is fantastic!! It’s more like a thick chili. We use it on rice, baked potatoes, toast and eat it plain in a bowl

or
chicken enchiladas

or
slop !!
It’s a casserole with tortilla chips, cheese, chicken and a sauce. Oh I love it

tonight it’s tacos

Tortellini soup tonight....simple, awesome, and even the kid likes it. I like it because it's cheap and I can get everything at Aldi for about $15 and there's no line.

2 things of chicken broth in a pot, dump in a brick of frozen spinach and turn the heat on.
Go outside and throw a pack of italian sausages on the grill....they'll be done about the time the pot is boiling and the spinach is defrosted
Dump in tortellini and start slicing the sausages....then dump the sausage in.

Make a lot because it's better the next day.

If I want something quick, Hebrew National Knockwurst cut up in Ranch Beans and heated up until hot.

If I can plan ahead, a beef stew made in a crockpot with the beef, petite onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes, etc. Pair that up with some nice sourdough bread and a lot of butter.

Easy from the freezer
For the wife and I stuffed Gnocchi from traders with a good sauce and parm cheese grated over it.

Winter food easy. Grilled cheese tomato soup as posted.
Clam chowder in a sour dough bowl
Wine of course with all of the above. 😜

Wife away. Anything I can stop and pick Mexican.
Or Orange Chicken and fried rice

EDIT: Jack in the box tacos at anytime 🍺

Chilli is always good (I’ve won some ICS awards for mine) , creamed chicken on biscuits works and I usually have home made meatballs ready for Sami’s which is what we had today.

Gehaktballen and stamppot (Dutch Meatballs and potato's)

Thought we were the only ones that made these. My mother is Dutch.

In fact it was supposed to be dinner tonight but I started not feeling well and didn’t want to cook. So it’s tomorrows dinner.

My wife makes killer homemade orange chicken, we do that sometimes on rainy days as well.
