The weather in Murrieta is amazing this am.

So I decided to fire up the smoker, and I had another reason.

Backstory, a neighborhood kid that I have known his entire life, who is now 12 years old. Came down with appendicitis, and had a small rupture and surgery. Battling some very high fevers. Parents are driving 65 miles one way to childrens hospital in San Diego the last 4 days.

So the neighborhood is cooking dinner for them every night. I volunteered for today. They love my Pork Butts..

Got these on the smoker about an hour ago, and adding a rack of St Louis ribs later...

While the smoker was coming up to temp... I did some back yard chores. Trimming some hedges, cleaning up a Mediterranean Palm, cleaning some leaves.... I am loving this weather...

I thru some Jalepeno Cheddar Sausages on it for about 30-40 Minutes, with some queso....

Yep, Made me a bit lunch.... with Chelada... OMG....
Toasted Bun, Hot Link Sausage, Queso, Onions and Beer...

Now thats a lunch for a King.

Dusting off a favorite recipe. Wife made a Costco run and brought the stuffed salmon home, with the best Lemon pepper rub I have tasted. I cook it on charcoal with hickory chunks at 375 degrees...

Get the smoke flavor and fire grilled.. Yummy goodness.

I just put it on the grill.
