I grew up on Lindy's but it is no longer.

I've tried a few others, Cholula, Taco Bell, La Victoria, not blowing my skirt up....

High School & College years I got to where I craved the Taco Time red sauce. Found a bottle of it at a local grocery store. Still tasted great!

Herdez salsa or tapatio, completely different from each other......other choices would be del scorcho or taco bell fire

We can't sit down to Mexican food without having at least this many bottles out (yes, we have more). I prefer the hot stuff that you regret in the morning 😳 😆 Left to right, these are hot to least hot. The Arizona Gunslinger Jalapeño and the Guacamayo have excellent flavor and are much more mild.

Homemade. 15 dry skillet toasted arbol chili pods, about 8 large cloves of garlic and 1 can tomato sauce. In a blender 15 secs max, and walk away.

Hahah as someone who’s made something close to this, fair warning chili de arbol is no joke!

You can hurt some feelings

Taco Tia Redlands for fast food taco sauce, they make their own.
Tapatio, Red Devil and Tabasco are always on the table.
Spontaneous Combustion for some serious heat.
And Venom for something over the top heat. I had to sign a waiver to purchase it.

My wife's homemade is the best. She made a fresh batch last night along with her homemade tacos. Damn that is the best!

Great Thread, I'm a big user of red hot sauce. Gunslinger and El Pato are staples in my house. Going to try pico pica.

It was Monkey butt. As of late I'm leaning towards the Red Ear Sunfish brand.

For me King Taco's red sauce is the best. No vinegar flavor , No sugary sweet flavor. It has a smoky, earthy really good flavor and the right amount of heat. I wish they sold it in bottles.

pico pica is good, Cholula is another go to, but i prefer a chunky salsa, not picky on brand.

We do Mexican food often at my house. I make some killer chicken taco's, ground beef burritos and green chili chicken enchiladas. Stuff I've learned along the way from legit Mexican food and family.

I like a flavorful medium spice. My favorite salsa is a blended Pico with some extra spice. If you've ever been to Esther's taco house in Placenta that nails it. At home I use Tapitio. I don't understand the hot hot stuff. If all I get is a scorching burn when I eat my food, why? My dad will eat that super hot stuff. I tend to wonder if taste buds are weaker and stronger in some people.

The hot stuff gives me heart burn too. HAHA!

We grew up with Lindy's and I still use/used it when my Mom makes tacos but that is the only time. I use Tapatio or La Victoria Hot at my house usually, I do have some others in my fridge though.

I'm not into the reds as much but Tapatio is preferred. My go to is Hatch green chili.
