Before 14x6 wheels, 205/65-14 tires
After 17x7 wheels, 225/50-17 tires
Good lord. How did you even tow it around before?
Bitchin setup. Did you have to change anything to accommodate the larger wheels?
What brand are those 17's?
Thank you! No I didn’t have to change anything, just cannot use supplied center cap.
Cool, im going from 14's to 18's. The fenders had to be replaced with wider ones and remounted higher for clearance.
What center cap did you use and where did you get ??
The center cap included with the wheel tapers to a cone to quickly from the mounting point to the wheels . So I just left them off and kept the bearing caps on. I suspect new center caps could be 3D printed or machined though the tolerance is tight. If they came out straight for an other inch then transition to cone they would probably work but tight.
Not sure if i have a different hub or what, but mine don’t have the black rubber boot just a stainless cap that has the zerk behind it, that being said i think they look great without the caps even though I wouldn’t mind if the cap actually fit! They are a Good looking cap but oh well.
(215/65r17) on mine
Torsion or leaf axles?
Those wheels make the trailer look like it should have came that way.
Thank you, Leaf.
