ImageUploadedByTapatalk1400847032.623333.jpg I got a few new gadgets to make the seams in my granite tops almost invisible. I'm impressed to say the least!

I don't know what kind of "gadget" you guys use, but the guy that did mine was awesome too...... The seam in mine runs right by where the tip of the lighter is in the pic:

Are you using a CNC machine? With a good layout they can make it all flow like it was cut from one big piece. Just did a layout wednesday on 2 slabs. Labor for CNC was a lot more than the other guy I use.

I wish! I can't afford a CNC. We do all the seams by hand. The big cuts are all done on a large bridge saw.

Our granite fabricator is using a water jet machine. He just did a bunch of granite for us. Getting ready to do marble in the kitchen. Some really great cutting/edge. I was able to watch some if it get cut. Pretty cool system.

I have a digital template machine that you plug into a plotter and it makes templates so the customer can approve the layout of the kitchen, but to make the whole shop digital just isn't in the cards for now.

Do you do concrete counters or just stone? I want stone and the wife wants concrete.

I can but I don't feel comfortable doing it in a customers house. Only because I haven't been doing it that long and stone is our main gig.
