Which Amps

What is everybody running for amps these days? I know for a while the "hot ticket" seemed to be the Alpine PDX but it doesn't seem like those are being made anymore. I'm looking at doing a modest stereo in my boat in the near future and am kind of thinking of running the Rockford Fosgate Power Series 1 for co ax speakers and one for subs. I guess I'm looking for the best value amp, not looking to spend the best for a brand name just to have the best brand; however, if there is a compelling reason, I'm all ears.

If you can find PDX’s they are still worth grabbing up. I just redid my amps and rather than getting all new i replaced my bad F6 with two F6’s and kept the M6. But to buy all new I’d have to go for the JL M’s they seem to be the best all around amps out these days.

Same here. Had JL in my boat since 2004. Qas awesome ans just got worn out. Replaces it with a newer JL and it pounds.

I ended up using one of my Alpine PDX and adding (2) Rockford Fosgate TM series amps for the rest of the boat.
