White / grey birds flying at night?

They are not bats and not owls but you can see their white wings coming in hot over the pool at night, and around the house lights, are they confused morning doves?

We just moved into the refuge and just about every house in the neighborhood has one flying over it at night.

BullBat aka Knight Hawk. They will scare the shit out of you by flying within a foot or two of your head chasing bugs!

Neighbors house has them all the time....they have numerous yard lights pointing upward so these birds are feasting on all the bugs.
Kinda pisses us off because we keep thinking we're see shooting stars but it's just them streaking through the lighting.

Always thought that they were a type of bat. They are always flying with the little palm size bats coming out of the mines in the black hills, heading towards the FMIT farm fields. Cool birds for sure.
