When you've got a Tesla
Like pulling with a freight train. Range and tongue weight would be my concern.I'd be interested what the towing characteristics are like towing with electric motors. I bet they get warm but probably have a good amount of torque.
It has to kill it, anything over 75 mph and I am assuming heavy loads and hills would really drop the range. My wife has the extended range, she starts off full at 353 miles. Home in Havasu to her work in Anaheim is 277 miles, but it wont make it because she drives 80 plus on the 40. She stops in Barstow for 20 minutes and picks up 150 miles while she eats DelTaco.Real question is what does it do to the range?
You’re gonna need a massive generator, at least 250 amps methinks
