I'd be interested what the towing characteristics are like towing with electric motors. I bet they get warm but probably have a good amount of torque.

Torque? Yes

Range? If you have to ask you already know you won't get there without recharging

Like pulling with a freight train. Range and tongue weight would be my concern.

Real question is what does it do to the range?
It has to kill it, anything over 75 mph and I am assuming heavy loads and hills would really drop the range. My wife has the extended range, she starts off full at 353 miles. Home in Havasu to her work in Anaheim is 277 miles, but it wont make it because she drives 80 plus on the 40. She stops in Barstow for 20 minutes and picks up 150 miles while she eats DelTaco.

If they got a trailer with a generator, range wouldn't be an issue. Leave generator running and run an extension cord from the trailer to the car and charge as you drive.
Thats what I was thinking. Make it a Hybrid! lol!

You’re gonna need a massive generator, at least 250 amps methinks

Here’s a good towing test of the Model X, towing uphill and downhill. No surprises here...

Roman was exhibiting some serious range anxiety.

The only way that works is the Tesla is trailering a running diesel generator and its output is connected to the Tesla's charging port.
