1957 Ford F100 old bell truck. Been sitting in my buddys garage for 25 years. She’s coming out to see daylight today for new tires. Then get the utility rack back on her.

One thing I can't help notice, is the growing number of 4 doors being restored. Seems in the past they were usually overlooked in favor of the more sleek appearance and cool factor of the 2 door models. I'm sure supply vs demand was involved.

4 doors are a lot more practical. Trying to load your friends in the back seat sucks with a 2-door. Especially if kids are involved.

OK, I can wrap my old man head around 4 doors becoming popular simply because 2 doors are becoming so scarce in the "Oldies but Goodies" world of find-em-and-fix-em-up 🤔 --- but YOU wrote PRACTICAL  🤯 😂

Trust me I understand practical, age has beaten that into my thick skull more often than I care to state or even recall -- I mean, life gets really real when you find it's your ass and ability to enter and exit a vehicle while maintaining some degree of dignity that's dictating your purchasing decision. But you wrote actually wrote PRACTICAL --- Oh My, I'm so sorry. 😪
Just kidding ;)

Love your Gen 2 El Camino, I want one bad, but I've gotten so spoiled with the PRACTICAL Screws, I have no idea how my wife and I used my 85' SS El Camino for so many years traveling between Havasu and Home. Seems now I suppose because we have the interior space, we seem to fill it to the max each trip.

My first car at 16' was my 57' Ford Stabbin Wagon, now that was practical for a kid living at home, when I totaled it, and it got replaced with a 64' F85 Cutless, my sex life went to shit. 😖

I was mentioning you to my son the other day because he lives in Ventura. Hadn't heard of your business, but has certainly seen your cool bus. What's under the hood sir ?

So yup, at 73, I fully understand practical, it's an anchor I'm firmly chained to. 🥴

The Bus has a compound turbo 12 valve cummins. Funny you mention the stabbin wagon. Taking my wagon to shows you get the old ladies walking around tee-heeing about losing their virginity or conceiving their children in the back of one of those.

75 Bronco, I’ve had it since I was 24. Most of the sheetmetal damage was from me and bud light in my 20s! Good times!
The white Bronco is an 86, I literally just sold it 2 weeks ago, but it was my daily for about 6 years.

I just found the Wings over Camarillo 2015 youtube I'll forward him the link to. I think it shows off a few of your cool rides, and great shot of the bus engine.

My first ride. My Dad wanted a Land Cruiser, and in the summer of 1971 found one at Burt Toyota in Denver. I flew up from Albuquerque on Continental and drove it home. It cost around $2,300, just a couple hundred more than a Pinto, Vega, or Bug.

It was a.hella stout 4WD. We drove all over southwestern Colorado using USGS topographical maps to find the trails to mining ghost towns. There were several times I passed Jeeps and Broncos mired in snowmelt mud. They thought a high speed running start was the best tactic. I just chugged by them in 4 low, the big six had torque to spare.

A few years ago I was driving around in my '66 Ford F-100...it has the optional factory lap belts. A big sistah in a Dallas PD cruiser passed me and almost crashed making a u turn. She wanted my honkey ass. 😁

"License and registration" she sez. Me: "Um, is there a problem?"

Fat cop: "You ain't wearin' yo seat belt." Me: "Uh, well, yes I am".

She was twenty years younger than the truck...didn't know shoulder harnesses weren't around in 1966. 😁😁

Friend in high school, his Dad bought them new as his daily driver. This was in the 1980's.

I don't currently have anything old. But looking for a 1986.5 Porsche 928S five speed. Also looking for a Jaguar XJ12 series III. Both hard to find in the condition I want. The 928, most are automatics.
