More tests are part of the plan but that includes testing for antibody presence too. The latter is key IMO. If they can confirm a decent herd immunity, things will open faster.

I have been working throughout the pandemic, have had people in the warehouse test positive, not work for a couple weeks and come back once they were symptom free. It is manageable if you use social distancing, wash your hands, wear a mask and make sure you are not running a fever before going to work.

When this first started happening, people freaked. HR gave everyone the opportunity to take time off anytime they wanted, up to 30 days. We have asked people to monitor their health, have set up temperature measurement stations in our buildings and continue to work. We have sanitized one 120k square foot warehouse twice, at the cost of 22k each time to keep the wheels turning. People don’t have to come to work if they don’t want to.

The people who were freaking at the beginning are now at work practicing best practices and are very happy they have a job. In fact, the people applying for jobs is through the roof right now...it’s crazy.

It can be managed and the only reason I say that is because I have been living it.
