Just wrapped up a wiring mod on a Mastercraft to allow the operator to bypass the time-out safety function in the onboard computer for the ballast without disabling the onboard computers control of the ballast system or backfeeding voltage into bad places. Why you ask? The owner just tied in an extra 1,000 lbs of ballast capacity to the existing ballast system and wants to be able to fill it up from his existing controls

Watch out for this roll bar boat 😅

Other Fuck these boats clear to the bottom of any and all lakes ---
If you're performing this work as an employee of a marina or marine repair facility, isn't there a certain amount of assumed liability, if as an example you're connecting this system that hypothetically exceeds the USCG rating capacity ? I mean another 7,000 lbs isn't just a little ballast.
I was basically comparing it to an electrical contractor knowingly adding more load than a circuit is rated for, just because the customer requested it --- Ahhhh, sorry, no can do buddy.

Always a work in progress. Relays, mercs bullchit to make dts run, etc.....

We’ll always have room for improvement until we work for Tony C. 😜🤓

I always have regrets with how things are routed, missed some opportunities to do something better, nicer, etc.

I put it all on this piece of pvc board to avoid having to do it up under the dash. 🤷🏻
