WTB 22'-24' MCOB Ultra/Lightning/Cobra/Essex/Laser

Fellow inmates, we are in search of a 22'-24' MCOB such as an Ultra, Lightning, Cobra, etc, etc.... you know the deal. It seems like that mold def made its way around the boating mfgs. Not really worried about the power as we're not into speed and it will be a family boat. Hoping to find something that has been taken care of and has lower hours with a decent gel coat design (keep wishing I know). Budget sets us at $30k and lower. Anyone out there looking to upgrade and want to sell? Thanks for looking.

In that size range don't forget the Essex 21' Sterling. It's a big 21 and actually has more interior space than their 22' Vortex. We've had ours going on 14 years and we have no need or desire to trade up. Good luck and enjoy!

I have a 2005 kachina bandit 23' 6.2, fresh rebuild , literally brand new zero hours so far. Brand new stereo last year professionally installed all kicker marine with led's. VIP trailer tandem axle very well taken care of, freshwater only.25k
Only reason for rebuild is that oil pickup came out of pump. Upgraded that.. expensive learning curve. 200+/- hours on hill.

Just saw a 1999 312 Formula with twin 454mpis with under 300 hours listed for $36k. Crazy good deal.

Our friends have the 25' Laser, it is a nice boat, mid cuddy is easy to get through, lots of storage. I can try and find out what the top speed was with the 496.

My buddy said 63 top speed the the 496, non HO, so the HO should be good for a few more mph

Just saw this one pop up this morning. Def caught our attention but we have already pulled the trigger on a 25' Nordic Rage MCOB that I'll be picking up Friday. The wife stepped foot into a Rage and it was all over from there, they are roomy. Hopefully all goes well with the purchase.

Thanks for the help everyone. We decided on a Nordic Rage 25, a little bit bigger with a usable mid cabin. Had to make the trek to Salt Lake City to get it though, still driving [emoji41]
