Post up a general location. That will help the inmates help you in your search. After a quick look, I'm surprised at the price tags of these things... I swear they went up even more over the last few months.

Quick Question.... Why the bench mark of 2013. 2012 is the first year of the V6 which I believe is the same engine up until 2015. Is there some other option out there in the 2013?

Another thought. You are paying a pretty big bump in pricing for a Rubicon. You could pick up a Unlimited Sport and add the E Lockers, or Air Lockers and probably still come out on top money wise. They are very capable without lockers, so it really depends on what kind of wheeling you plan on really doing.

Rubi - 4:1 transfer case. Eventually 37's I suppose and you will want that T case.

I may have found the one. And it’s in 37’s with 5:13 and upgraded axles and brakes.

I sent him a message last night for more information but have not heard back. I really want a 2015 and up JKU Rubicon with 37's, leather, hardtop (perfer color matched), bumpers,winch,sliders and under 40k miles.
I can buy a friends 2017 JKU Recon with 35k miles with all the above inculding some lights and fenders with new 37's for $43k but that just to close in price to a JLU. I would buy his for $38k but he wont go that low, maybe $40k.

What’s the difference between a JKU and a JLU?

JK was the series of Wrangler built up to early 2018, JL is the latest series, late 2019 and up. Significant changes, mostly for on road comfort. Off-road they're very similar. I had a 2018 JKUR and now have a 2020 JLUR. Both are awesome.

JLU has nicer interior and the 8 speed. The body is updated and I think the frame as well.

I missed the 8 Speed, which is huge to me. It is a ZF 8HP, same one in BMWs, Dodge Ram's (gas), Audi, Land Rover, etc. Very stout, and very reliable.

Yeah that thing is bad ass. My budget started at 25k and I ended up spend just under 35k. So I got to stop at some point lol
