I am beginning the process putting my little boat back together and I have a Tohatsu M40D that I need to get a service manual for, anyone know a good place to get one...

Thanks, those are both a good start, but I understand there is an actual service manual available for it that I have not been able to track down.

I gave mine away with the old boat.. I bought it at an outboard shop and it was about 60 bucks?

Try H&H Marine center they should be able to get you an OEM book, and ship it to you. 619-298-6211.

If you are ok with an aftermarket book we can get you one for about $60

Might want to try John's Custom Marine. they have a whole section of service manuals at their shop.
