Looking to possibly sell my Nordic and move the family into a toon. Ideally would love twins but probably not in the budget. Looking for 350+ outboard 25-27 ft range. Trying to stay around $80k if you know anyone selling.
Thanks

Check out the website for pacific marine sales in Fresno, worth the drive, several of us have opted to get our Avalons there versus the dealer in havasu. Considerably less expensive.

I just called them on Saturday and they are way better priced than any other dealer

Twins are good. But to be honest after owning this i dont see a reason to go that fast. They are not really good at 60mph. The wind is brutal. They dont actually turn left and right very well at that speed. Personally i dont see the need. But they are cool
We had a magic deck before.
They also love gas.
Channel to pirates and back is about 25 gallons with a single.not horrible but not amazing
So twins would be 50 gallons round trip.
The verado service is at 100 hours then 300. So at the 100 hour twins expect about 1500 bucks or more. Still way cheaper comparing HP to inboards

What is your cruising speed with that power? With my two kids we usually run up river at an average of 45 mph. Once the kids are off is when we throttle down.

full tank, 4 adults and all the boat shit Im at 44mph. Doesnt seem to mater water conditions, rough or glass.
we tried to get 400 right when they came out. Avalon wouldnt do it. I even tried to buy the boat without the motor and add the 400. The warranty on the boat became a issue.
Now after the 300 for a few summers its fine. The cruise speed would still be 40ish. Toons are boating lifestyle change. The intent is to slow down and have room.
44 mph on a Saturday on Havasu you are passing all the wake boats and going plenty fast.
My sons wake board behind it. They like that the motor is silent and can hear the stereo and we can actually yell to each other.

Be careful of Jack at Pacific Marine Avalon dealer.
He has the tact of a used car salesman. He doesn't equip the boat with the same options as Got Water marine in Lake Havasu.
I tried a couple times and I would have ended up with less of a boat and less options.
I saw one of their boats here in Havasu. You could tell right away it didn't have all the options and it wasn't propped right. Wonder if the owner got a new prop? I know Vaughn would have just exchanged it in a heartbeat or made it right from the beginning.

And their website sux. The toon pictured is never the toon that you'll actually get or the actual model. They wouldn't even send me pictures of the actual toon.
The trailer is also less quality and the bunks not set up right.
I had the build sheets from Pacific Marine and Got water Marine came in under his price.
Don't forget either shipping cost or travel time.

Even if Got Water marine is a little more expensive I would rather support our local economy and Vaughn and the crew are some of the best people you'll ever meet .

We ordered ours the way we wanted it from Jack, took 6 weeks, and they use Extreme trailers, we added upgrades, fenders, wheels, landing lights etc.

I might be putting our Playcraft 2700 on the market. Has the 8.2L mag. Just upgraded to a killer stereo at Ron’s, full service at Absolute. New 4 blade props. Hits 54mph.
Very low hours.

This one is a bit over budget, but she's sweet. Send questions and let me know how to help. Mike 520-991-2242
