All I know is at these prices it would be really helpful if the SoCal gas stations would up the limits for when a pump stops!

$2.39 at Terribles in LHC on Weds? Smith’s and Maverick’s is at $3.05 today. Believe Terrible’s last night at S. Acoma was $3.29.

The reason I could get it to $2.39 a gallon was with my grocery # . Most Chevron stations (Terrible’s) discount their gas by .20 to .70 a gallon because they partnered with Von’s etc.

California gas prices soar above $4, reaching the highest price in five years

Gasoline prices have spiked in California, soaring well above what most Americans are paying at the pump. In some locations, Californians are paying $5 for a gallon of gas.

A number of refinery outages tightened gas supply in the market. The average price of regular gas in California rose to $4.18 a gallon, the highest level since May 13, 2014, according to the Oil Price Information Service, which gathers data for the AAA.

California's gas prices are the most expensive in the United States: The national average is currently $2.65 a gallon.

Most motorists around the country are noticing gas prices declining or stabilizing, which is normal for autumn. Gas prices typically drop after the busy summer driving season, AAA said. But that trend hasn't taken hold on the West Coast this fall.

It’s all about the weather.
LOL
When we are on the road I get pissed if diesel is over $3. Most truck stops are about $3.05 or so and non named stops in the 2.80 range last week in Georgia I paid 2.78 for diesel in the moho. 100 gallons those few cents add up

Relative to SCE's present rates, the Public Utilities Commission on May 16 adopted a cumulative revenue increase for the Edison International subsidiary of 3.94% for a partially retroactive rate period covering 2018 through 2020. SCE had asked for a 14.7% cumulative increase through 2020.

They keep screwing with TOU times too...

In Carson City, it jumped up about .30 over night a couple weeks ago. I heard something on the local news channel that it was from switching from summer to winter blend. I call BS on that. I always was under the impression that the summer blends are higher.

I got my new to me dually came with a 100 gallon Transfer Tank in the bed. I was going to remove it until the CA diesel prices went crazy. I can fill it up for $1 less a gallon than CA, and drive to the races in Bakersfield towing the tow hauler and still have fuel left over. Its a hit at first, but better than handing Newsome my $$$$.

Also I noticed that usually the gas prices per octane only increase $.10, 87, 89, 91... but recently theres like a $.60 jump for premium. As cars become more fuel efficient they have higher compression, boost, and require premium... so hey why not gouge that too?

And for what, our roads are worse than ever.

For entitlement programs.

You know, those checks we pay out to people who don’t work such as welfare recipients and retired gov employees.

With the government workforce and personal irresponsibility growing each year I doubt it will ever get any better in CA.

In LHC Smith’s jumped from $2.71 to $2.78 yesterday. That’s a significant one day jump for Smith’s.

I think Gavin Newson could be Governor of CA and AZ at the same time. He's that good.

Filled up at this Texaco north of Frisco, Tx on Saturday. It went down a penny later the same day. The mother in law responded with “that’s what you get when using unregulated fossil fuels that pollute the environment.” Wife and I LMAO at her comment. She may be left of left. Is that possible?
