Over the last administration we had the largest spending increases in decades, the largest tax increase on the working middle class in decades and the largest deficit spending since WWII, all the while the vast majority in here were cheering for such policies and calling those that implemented them the greatest leaders of all time. Their "King" and the "saviors" of America!

Yet now big spending, big deficits, and higher taxes are bad?

"My" 1400 was deposited this morning, I do not want it or need it, so I will cash it out and spend it at local family business that do need it.

If you measure the economy by the stock market then the wealthy white benefited by far more than anyone else. That is to be expected, you have more you make more. The quote I responded to was referencing the growth of the market. That growth began under the previous President and was further bolstered by corporate welfare.

Now under the new administration we have to pay the piper. The tax code will be changed to make up for the massive deficits under the Frump experiment. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
And where does the 300% rise in homeless encampments , feces on sidewalks, homeless motorhomes in your town of Fullerton factor into this?
What is your party doing locally to fix that problem?
Are you going to let one camp on your lawn? Or call a social worker to “fix it”?🤣

Not enough is being done. Not sure it’s a party issue at the local level.

Really?
The fullerton city council is majority Dem, you know that.
Half of them want to give homeless men BJ’s after Kelly Thomas.
Do you really want to say you feel safe walking around the train station after 10pm any night ?

How about by el torito parking lots or by costco at same time frame?

No way no how you can tell me with an honest face you feel safer now in the two areas I just described than 4 years ago.

Don‘t feel safe now, didn’t feel safe then. There is definitely a lack of enforcement but that doesn’t make my city different than any other.

The city is much better in some ways and way worse in others. Homelessness is way up but drug use has always been prevalent. What is different is the type of drugs I’m guessing. When I was a kid the only bars downtown were Mickey’s and Pete and Tony’s. There was the Allen Hotel and the Wilshire Theater. All of that has transformEd to multiple restaurants and bars that have something for everyone. It is more family friendly now than when I was a kid. I’m older than you but not by much.

When I was in middle school I’d ride my skateboard to the Main station to pick up my dads check. I’d stop by my grandparents apartment to have a snack, then back to Chapman Park neighborhood. There’s no way I’d let my kids do that alone now. Things are different now.

You can blame it on democrats all you want, it’s more than that.

Norco don’t have that problem. We are racist, republican, red necks over here though. Kids ride the horse trails alone all the time. We don’t feel sorry for homeless, everyone has choices. You choose to do dugs and be homeless, that’s on you. And yes, i am an addict, so I don’t take too many excuses.

And this exactly is why you will always lose your more tax argument.

Taxes have done nothing but gone up. You’ve said yourself the area you live in is more dangerous with more homeless.

What is the point of paying more taxes if laws are ignored, basic services are reduced and quality of life is diminished?

Yeah, it's amazing how some (okay, all) members of the left come up with the strangest arguments and justifications to avoid having to admit the completely idiotic decisions this administration is making, isn't it?
Well they voted for a pedophile, so there's that...

Don't you fucking understand that IS the fucking problem, fucking idiot lying liberals...

The 'stimulus' money is to get you ready to live subsidized by the government on a regular basis. Or at least the vast majority of the population.

Socialism!
