I apologize for the delay on this guys, I have been crazy busy with some big things we are going to announce here pretty quick with regard to RDP.
That said the night before I left for the boat show I was pretty amped up to go so I decided to put a contest out there for the members to win some pretty ridiculous prizes for showing up in RDP gear and taking some pics. Unfortunately the contest wasn't promoted that great as it was in a Sea of LA Boatshow threads in the lounge.. but that said some members played and one member in particular played to win!
What I will say is a lot of Vendors at the boat show heard about it, and I was asked several times how to get to be a part of it in the future! Even in a couple of the non performance booths I had some vendors ask me about it, which kind of surprised me a bit. On another note the promoters of the LA Boatshow itself liked it quite a bit, and wants to do bigger things with it next year!
We ran a total of 10 Contests for our members and these are your winners.

@bryzmon - They had to win.. They took a picture in front of their new boat in the shockwave booth and I know they are going to need an anchor.

@throttle didn't do a "true" single boat review where he went through and said what he did and didn't like about a single boat.. But He put up a pretty killer thread with an overview of everything he liked at the Boat Show.

@DrunkenSailor didn't exactly fit the bill either with his, but he put up some pretty cool features of boats that were stand out! I'm going to "runner up" him with a Polo or Bahama shirt.. I got a hunch he might need one in the future anyways..

Overall the amount of submissions was a lot less than I had hoped for, but I came up with it literally hours before I left for the show. The result of the contest was amazingly positive on a lot of other fronts though, and I'm glad that we did it! I look forward to working with the boat show itself in 2020 to doing something with all the people that show up to the boat show, and of course a little something special for the RDP members..
