HEY-LAM, wife bought me a mobile home....

I put 10k in the front yard so far.....removed the palm, and bushes, removed the concrete and put pavers had the yard leveled and put colored rock...not sure what we are gonna do,... wife wants to sell the nelson house, (owner carry) and just keep the mobile.... I want to get rid of it all..this will be the last construction job I will ever do before I die...might sell this place, owner carry, or rent it out... I've been going back and forth to havasu from vegas for 50 yrs... I hate the drive, 200 mile seems like for ever... I have a new (was new) pontoon.... used it once last year... pretty sure I'm lake blind. as lake view means nothing to me any more...

this place has a 40x 12, or so garage on one side with car port that will fit a suburban. and 63x 12 boat storage on the other....it'll be a nice place when done, and cheep to own... it's on septic so cheep water and sewer bills, and cheep taxes...

I thought you just bought your UTV getaway project property to keep you busy in your "Spare" time ?

I’d be more interested in the mobile to be honest. I don’t need all the glitz and glamor of the big house.

Would the city allow the garage on the right to finish being enclosed, then put a roll up door on it so it’s secure?

gotta finish it first.// might rent, sell, or sell the other 2 places in havasu and keep it..I'd do an owner carry on the 2 house compound... and just have the mobile for when we go to havasu.. or sell the mobile owner carry.. the mobile will have all new plumbing,ac, doors floors, cabinets . drywall painted walls..

moved the iron gate to that side,... so you can now lock that side up secure,..there is also a garage on the other side that is walled in with double barn doors


also this is county. no sewer/water bill... just water so it's cheep./// in the county you can have metal buildings... would be cheep and easy to take the patio cover down and put up a metal rv garage..

took out the hall closet and made the bath bigger w/ double sinks..also added a MC cabinet on the end..

i worked 22hrs straight one day.// but pretty much have worked around the clock,get tiered, take a nap on the cot and go back to work
wife would come once a week for comical visits..

got the new washer, dryer, stove and fridge installed,.. also my counter tops came in and are ready to install.. the back splash will be tile,.. I do all my own tile work.. they want crazy money to do showers and bath floors in tile..

So true! My brother is 72 and still has projects and works everyday. I told him, he better not quit or he may wake up horizontally

Got the base and door trim done... mostly just odds and ins... the master has 2 walkin closets... his, 8' x 9' and hers 8' by 12'... got most of the tile done,...

pantry turned out nice with sink and cabinets..

the fridge stuck out too far in the room so I frenched it in to flush with the cabinets

picture framed the windows,...

added a pantry cabinet RV style,.. pop out

put in full size shelves in the cabinets..

heres the fridge frenched in...

also added a pop out cabinet in the hall way by the bath door

headed back down there today,... had to come to vegas for a comical visit...not much has happened out side yet,....wanna finish inside first... I've been staying there and have pretty much emptied out the big rv garage house.... so it's official,.. were selling it and keeping the mobile for our havasu get away place... real comfortable and easy living.... only draw back is I have to sell my pontoon cause it won't go under the roof,... but the 210 hallett will so i'm gonna bring it from vegas... boat side storage is 12' x 50' + , but only 8' high

What ever happened with this mobile on Williams? Sell or rent it. I really like the area north of Kenneth on William. Nice job on the remodel.

I drove by Joyce and it looks like nothing is happening there. Still in limbo?
