In baseball, my freshman year in college my coach nicknamed me "turtle" No its not because i was slow. During Pitchers fielding practice I fielded a slow bunt up the first base line and in one motion reached down grabbed the ball and threw it on the run. Well my momentum sent me head over heals and for a brief moment i was stuck in the grass and it looked like a Turtle stuck on its shell with legs and arms flailing.

I work with a bunch of Mexicans. One has a heavy toned voice and for the first 4 months I thought he was calling me Adam. One day at lunch the guys are talking spanish and ask who is Alan? Guy points at me. I guess he thought my name was Alan and I thought he was saying Adam the whole time. Anyways I go by Adam or Alan at work.

Spent a lot of time going to the river and desert with my brother and his friends. They had nicknames and one day my brother looks at me and says you need a porn star name to go along with your mullet. He spouts out Denver Colorado and the name stuck.

Little Ray, when I was younger we had lots of family gatherings one of my cousins was named Ray. So when someone said Ray we would of course turn around, so my Aunt said that’s enough Big Ray, Little Ray. I believe he’s about 10 years older than me.
