He was one of the only celebs I’ve dealt with that had me starstruck…. He sat with me his garage talking for a hour one day when I delivered his car…. Coolest down to earth guy, truly one of a kind…. RIP.

Interesting time in music for sure . . . Meat Loaf, Styx, Queen, Abba, ELO, etc. . . . I was never a fan of any of that music at the time cause I wasn't even a teenager, but I remember those songs being played by our parents. Cool to have those memories and I appreciate those times . . . RIP Mr Loaf. Cheers.

Felt up Darlene Yankowski in the back seat of my AMC Gremlin as a junior in high school with his music cranking, well as good as it could crank through my Kraco 6 x 9's. I will never forget the image of those bad boys in the moonlight, paradise by the dashboard light as they say.

His stuff was seemed to always be on the playlist at the lake back when, and it usually became a sing a long.
Thanks for the music, sir. RIP.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned his part in "Black Dog" that was a good flick. His acting was over the top, but Randy Travis was funny.

...I'm praying for the end of time
It's all that I can do
Praying for the end of time,
So I can end my time with you!…
That was after the date rape part of the song. 😆

Dang, really sucks to hear this.

Bat out of Hell was a milestone album of my youth.

I was 17 when it came out. I was traveling several western states that year (77/78) with a few friends/girl friends (packed in a Mustang II) for several months. We worked day labor jobs in various cities and were on a party binge. We played the album (8 track) endlessly along with Supertramp, Zep, Bowie and others.

To this day, I have the signed album hanging on my wall.

Didn't know but pretty cool.

We’ve seen him a couple of times realtively recently at local venues. Saw a few folks walk out once they saw the bow hunting videos he was playing on the displays. No understanding of him, the impact of his music, or his politics whatsoever.

Picked us a signed CD last time we saw him.

Right now a family is morning the loss of their loved one. Just think about that for a moment.
I don't think any of Meatloaf's family are slumming it on RDP... but hey, it's an entertaining site, taking it serious always goes well!
