You know I love this song.
Styx was good times in high school. I loved high school.
Kind of sad my wifey, before I met her, wasn’t as fond.
My brother was able to see the Paradise Theater tour.

Dod they have a Kilroy tour?

I saw them in 96 when they regrouped for the "Return to Paradise" tour, sans John Panazzo who had died.

Today I had a Devo epihany...I never knew they sang Gates of Steel. It's almost like Mothersbaugh sings in falsetto, thus why I never recognized the song. Then again, it may be due to me being an idiot.

How cool. Styx will always have a special meaning to me.
Too bad Tommy Shaw…uh, nevermind.
How about some Damn Yankees.
I’ve gathered Tommy wasn’t fond of Ted. 😁

Pretty ballsy going that deep into the crowd.
Love Brent Smith. ☺️
Right before Covid hit I went with my daughter to see some asshole named Mac Demarco at the Teragram Ball Room in DTLA.

He was drinking champagne on stage and seemed pretty lit up.

We were standing stage side, and I thought the dick was about to fall off the stage in our direction.

So I did what any father would do - I grabbed my daughter and pulled her out of the way!

But by doing so, other people scattered and stupid fuck fell onto the floor.

He got up, stumbled back onto the stage and did it again. Only, this time the crowd caught him and I realized he was crowd surfing.

OOPS 😃 😃 ✌️

Front and center has its benefits…and it’s, uh.
You get it.
I used to not pay for front and center but I almost always managed to get there.
Kind of wish my wife was hardcoreish like me when it comes to concerts.
I have no problem working a crowd at a concert. Wifey won’t so I don’t too many, especially now that I’m old and shit and don’t have too many friends.
My wife loves me though. 😁

So I stopped drinking 15 or 16 years ago, and this stuff isn't bad.

Then again after 15 years, anything that's cold and resembles beer tastes good

Strike that last comment, this one tasted like shit, Reminded me of a flat/stale Coors or Coors Light. I used to search all over town to find fresh Coors...it was hassle lol.

Error 521 - picked these up at the 99 Ranch Market in Corona. Dude, that Asian market is insane in a good way. Tanks of crab, lobsters, fish, a complete seafood counter w/fish frying, red meat and chicken blocks...killer produce. Not a little market either, full-size store. Off McKinley/91 over by the McDonalds/Costco

Punk in the Park won out of the last tour for these guys; shows are on the same date.

We've seen the B-52's sp many times and I wanted to catch their last tour...but they sound and look pretty rough these days. Kind of bummed about it.

Not a country fan but Bob Seger has always seemed fairly neutral political wise. Like this version.

Doesn’t look like Michael on the bass. Wolfgang I’d guess?
Cool jam though if we can get past the hideous outfit Taylor is wearing. 😁

"Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk?"

My wife and I enjoy singing along to this one also.
Nice to see a little participation. 😁
This is pretty cool. Definitely a blast between JR and SR high. Circa 77?

This era of music always reminds me of a movie but I’ll be damned if I know what movie so I texted the wife. She’s pretty good about remembering things I don’t. Oh shit, that might not always be good. 😁

My cousins started this band in 1977 or something. Very old school OC punk scene. They still do gigs today.

I caught this one as I was walking out the door this morning...

Dig the galloping bass style of Steve Harris; plays that rig like a lead guitar!

This was a crazy deal when Flo and Eddie of the turtles joined up with Frank Zappa and the mothers of invention… The drummer looks like Jim Gordon??? arguably one of the greatest drummers ever… he stayed at our cabin a few times up in Mammoth unfortunately schizophrenia got a hold of him and he murdered his mother…yikes???…

Today we were chatting about concerts and great singers with my MIL and we started talking about Rita Coolidge. My wife read her Wikipedia and whoa! The guy who went schizo and killed his mother...she went out with him too, and he roughed her up. What a dick, lol

She didn't have much luck with the famous dudes...

She had the voice of an angel...love her.
