Hello, a long shot but is you still have the red 2011 Howard w/600 SCI and consider selling it please contact me. Thanks, Steven 505-362-3932.
Did you ever find out what was up with your deckboat. I have the exact same set up and have the same issues.
I would be interested in talking with your partner. I'm in San Pedro, my grandson lives in San Marcos and when we're down there we have to stop at Phils BBQ.
If the price is right and I get this done, I know the grandkids are going to start fighting about who gets to ride it. Send me his contact info and I'll get in touch him. Thanks

The Magnuson charger was a bolt on kit with a smog cet(Cali). It made the truck into a new animal. It was approximately 100hp gain. 91 octain tune from Magnuson. Idled smother and gain mpg. 22mpg if you don't beat it. My nephew bought it off me and loves it.
Hello, saw your post with the tailgate used as a bench back. Wanting to do something like this with my FIL tailgate for my wife. FIL passed away couple years ago. If would not mind would you send some additional pictures of the bench and how the tailgate was mounted. Thank you, Jeff Langdon

Good morning Sir. I'm currently looking at a 29' and a 27' Laveycraft boats. Both are 03 years and both have blown single motors. One was pictured in a post I read here (29'). Is there any thing I should look for either way? I have looked at a couple other brands (Nordic, Fountain, Velocity) but I believe Laveycraft is going to be the next boat.

Derek-
Was that 29 in the picture your boat, If so do you have any details on it by chance? I'm currently looking at the 29's and 27's but leaning towards the 29. Looking to get another boat after having to sell my Velocity a few years back due to divorce, it happens. Have been looking at several different brands but think I have settled on a Lavey for sure.

Thank you,

Derek-

Bought a 210 open bow that “sunk in the driveway” lots of water damage. Needs floors, new belly tank I’m assuming stringers. Can you point me in the right direction and some ballpark prices. Thx!

Congratulations on the new to you 210. My guess is the stringers are probably ok. Have you pulled the interior out ? The tank on mine had pin hole leaks from years of water damage / leaking into the space below the floors. Stringers were still solid though. The main water intrusion came through the lag bolts holding the seat base for the open bow.

Floors and tank on mine were done by Hallet before they closed shop and sold to Nordic.

Thank you for the response! I have not removed anything yet but hoping to get one season of use before starting that project. Got a quote for $1500 for new tank.
Hey sorry to bother but I ran across an old post where you had a livorsi throttle for sale. I was wondering if there was any chance you still had that?
Hey Dave, I have been on the search for a flip-out window but the cost and lead time are insane. I came across this thread and saw that your brother makes them...? Looking for a 48 x 48 window unit, no sill. I can pick up in LB and will install on-site. Please let me know if he is still making them! Thank you

Hello Steve. the whole situation depends on us making a deal for a new-to-us boat. with that said i imagine low to mid 40's. our boat is a really nice 210.
How’s it going? I’m looking at a couple boats but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Do you want to send me more pictures if your willing to sell it? Maybe some details about the boat. Do you have a price in mind?

Or does anyone with experience in adding another actuator to hatch have any insight on making this happen with Whipple 525 power? Thank you!
Hello Rivr22, Do you still have your magic? If so are you available to connect about the hatch? I have an 06 with hatch issues and wanted to pick some fellow magic parents on fixes. Thank you!, Mike
What up Grady this is Steve Rauscher, I saw you post up the Shelby and made me think of Rodger. I was just re-reading our last texts. I miss The Guy.

Hi,
I'm building a new boat and need help regarding gelcoat and custom color mixing. I have formula, but no sample. Do you have a few minutes to talk? 714-612-3000.
Thanks,
Matt
Stumbled across your post of the Kurtis Kraft news article. Did you have any involvement with Kurtis? My pops worked for Arlin between 1970 and 76 before he became a driver in the studios. His name is Greg Landis
Wow,your place looks awesome! We are looking for a jan 15- april 15 rental ideally. We have spent lots of time in Havasu mostly march-april and really want to see what the weather is like jan and feb before we try to buy a place. What do you have in mind as far as $ and term?

Thank You

We just finished up the back yard. We have not even rented yet. For the time being Destination Havasu is managing it for us. They do 90 day snowbird rentals at $3,000 per month for a 3/2 with pool and a 3 car garage. Renting on my own I could do it for less but at this point i'm under contract with them and want to see how the first year goes.

Thanks

Dave
I was wondering if you got your def head replaced on your Revolution and if so did you have to drop the tank or access it from the top? My Revolution is doing kind of the same thing as yours did.

Got it! Thanks for the feedback. My tech quoted me $700, which I thought sounded steep... but after hearing how much work is involved, it sounds about right! Hopefully these last another 10 years. Hahah.

@Bullet Bob so it looks like I might need to do this myself... the mobile tech showed up and said the tire needs to come off to access it. Any tips or trick before I tackle this thing DIY style?

Bullet Bob
Sorry I didn't get back sooner. You have to take the tire off and remove the the mudflap and the inner fender to get access to it. Once you have that off there are 4 bolts that hold the DEF tank to the frame, they are kind of a pain to get to but once you remove them lower the tank down about 6 inches or so with a floor jack. Make sure you have enough slack in the wiring harness that goes to it.
Hello! I was searching for information on making a golf cart street legal and came across your post. I have done all the necessary paperwork and had a vin verification done as a low speed vehicle. Problem is they are requiring a smog since it’s gas powered. You had mentioned you knew of a company that handles that, was wondering if you could provide me the information :)

Hi. Unfortunately a lot of laws have changed since I wrote that info. I’ve heard California no longer will register gas powered golf carts with out smog. You have to take it to an official California referee smog station. I would think it would pass smog no problem though if you can get them to do it.

Hay Riverbottom,
Noticed a two year old post of yours that said you have a Liberty tunnel. Still goy it? Jeff Bennett and I designed it. I had the #2 boat out of the mold but I never rigged it. Fast and stable but too much weight due to their size made them not quick enough for drags. I remember Gambler ran a 103 back in about 1979 with a comp jet circle boat motor in it. Would love to find another one.

Well if you happen to run into anyone who has one that wants to give it back to one of the designers who would do it proud, let me know.

Will do. I have only seen the gambler and one other. I wish Tom Phillips at Eliminator had not destroyed the tooling for the Liberty tunnel. The detail work on the deck was beautiful.

I never had anyone come up and say nice Liberty. Most people thought it was a Silverwing.
