I still have it on VHS. I was 13 when it came out, young and impressionable. "Julie" set a huge standard for me.

Well, I've got you by a few years (I was 17) but I bet if we watched it together we wouldn't need the sound turned up except for the music (I even own the soundtrack on CD)!

The Plimsouls playing live on the movie. Bad ass. My wife thinks it's funny that I used to hang out at bars like that when I was younger.

I, like many of you, was laying in bed with my wife a few months ago and watched the whole thing over again. We both remember it and watched it when we were kids. It's one of those good cheesy flicks. Some kind of wonderful was another great movie from the 80's
