Jay, regarding the water issue. Dixie didn't like the pool either. We took her to the lake and she was fine. Then she would go in the pool. I think it was that severe drop off that intimidated her.

Here's Angel. Even though she may not look it, she's a people lover. I have kids in and out all day long, but it's funny when somebody is scared of her. I can't even get her to put her mouth on me when I'm playing rough with her, she just won't bite.

She has a fear of water, will not go near the pool, or hose, sprinkers, etc.. Does not like water what so ever. We had a male that we found dead in the pool a few years back. I don't know if she put that together in her mind or not. She must have watched him die, heard him crying etc. and decided that would be the last time she went near a pool. She also watched me pull him out.

This is our dog Maxine when our friends gave her to us on Christmas day 2 years ago. Shes half chow and half lab. Luckily she got the lab personality.

This is her now. Still pretty damn cute and the prefect size to curl up and fit on the side seat of the boat. And she LOVES riding in the boat and swimming all day long!
