Country music now is a light weight form of [c]rap. First I remember hearing it was Toby Keith. He spoke about it and kind of admitted he messed up, but he did good from it so why stop now.
American Idol??? What a joke. Only thing good to come out of that show and nobody there knew who he is:
You don't walk away humming the tunes anymore.
What in tarnation is a Shaboozey?
It’s sad to see the decline of EVERYTHING!!
Yep, “fan” based awards. They don’t mean much.Aren't these the American Music Awards, Not any of the country organizations?
So basically country isn’t country got it. Post Malone is a joke and a crybaby.
The acids and the LSD from back in the day have been known to show side effects of flashbacks at any given moment!
Skip ahead to 4:30, Dave agrees.
We all need to do better to recognize those people that were willing to sacrifice it all we really do need to do better!I agree, but I like this one a lot
There is still good country out there. You just go looking for it.
Corb Lund
Colter Wall
Sturgill Simpson
Vincent Neil Emerson
Charley Crockett
Ernest
Jamey Johnson
Hayes Carll
etc....
Any of those guys should scratch your old school country needs. Just throw one of them on your favorite music app, and let the app find you similar music.
Surprisingly there's a bunch of good old school country coming out of Canada right now.
For the last 10 years, Country Music has been thrown in my face, first it was my friends and now the media. Fact is people wanted it more mainstream (or listened more) and now it is. What do expect these musicians to do, at the end of the day it is about money and each of these people are businesses. Anyone remember Hootie and the Blowfish, he is no different than Beyonce in my opinion.
I went to a Country Music festival this weekend, live music never sucks...............but the song that got the most applause was a Foo Fighters song that one of the bands played....weird
Oops, sorry, it was the American Music Awards.B
Beyonce? WTF? Makes no sense at all.
Now Ella Langley? SHE wins on looks alone!
WHY Chris Stapleton isn't on that list is a complete insult. His music is just first class.
So fuck whoever made that list.
This video is really tells a great story...
Try Hank lll. It's good on Amazon music. At least there are options like Pandora!

Maybe time for Alan Jackson to write some new lyrics for “Gone Country “![]()
Oops, sorry, it was the American Music Awards.
Stagecoach 2025 had more non-country artists too. I was a little surprised by the lineup and felt like it was more of a music festival than a country music festival. My wife is already talking about going next year, but I'm not convinced yet.The wife was looking at Stagecoach tickets for next year, then she was like oh. Beyonce is supposed to be there. 2 Big NOPE's from both of us.
I really like seeing all these reaction videos. This guys are a little exuberant (lack of a better term) but the message is the same. OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES AND EARS PEEPS. There is a big world out thereFound this guy yesterday. When I pulled up Hank Jr. I love his reactions. They are a little long but worth the watch. He is just a year younger then me and never heard of Charlie Daniels or Hank Jr. LOL
