Help buying pool table..

I am in the market to buy a used pool table.. I know nothing about what is good and bad brands. What too look for. Slate how thick etc... I am not planning on spending 2k plus... More of in the used market.

I've bought a couple of the $1000-$1500 specials you can find around at the local shops. That came with a set of cues, cover, delivery, and set up. They are nice enough for what we used it for. They definitely weren't the nicest tables I've played on but not bad by any means. The nice part about going with a new one is you get to pick the wood and felt colors which is nice.

If you get it, have it delivered and set up professionally (you can find someone on CL). Trust me, it'll be worth it.

That is a great deal if its in good shape. I would imagine it would cost you $200-$400 to have it moved and set up.
