3 days ago Outlook 2010 started asking for a password every 2 minutes and will not download any mail. I've tried Google search with no luck. A few years ago the settings had to be changed to include ATT in the settings and that fixed the problem. Maybe that has changed again?? Frustrating!
I'm using Yahoo mail.
Thank you

Because I've got SBC/Yahoo email, a year or so ago there was some fuckery between AT&T and Yahoo, and my Outlook went wonky. I looked it up, then recalled an announcement I'd gotten from AT&T about some BS hoops I'd have to jump through eventually regarding the password. I tried my best to complete the steps the letter had set forth, fail, fail, fail --- I was losing my fucking mind. I could still log on and get it from my Yahoo mail, but it wouldn't connect with Outlook and download the emails to my computer.
I have no idea what I did to make it work, I tried so many things, but suddenly it did. I did take screen snap shots of the log-on and set up, so if it ever flew the coup I was hoping I could restore it -- but so far so good, it just works and I'm not sure why.

This happened to my neighbor, he does well just to log-on, I advised he call his DSL provider AT&T, he did and the lady walked him right through it.

Good Luck, but mine is still up and working fine.

I had issues with Outlook a month ago. I chatted with tech support, gave them remote access and they figured it out in under an hour.
