6 lessons at Daves Accordion School.
They chose the latter.

The 80 lb., anodized blue-violet, Billet keypad, Mother-of Pearl Button, Lawrence Welk Bismark Super Squeezebox that RD has his students use now has Maynard acting correct.

"Maynard acts up and all ya have to do is whistle a Frankie Yankovic Polka, and he'll behave" RD told us.

I was at roadrunner and my crew decided it was time to go home, but I was not ready to go yet. So I told them to leave and I will fgure out a way to get home. Long story short, I end up driving someones boat home (didnt know the guy but he got arrested earlier that night) and ended up at RDs. as usually does happen at RDs we partied till the wee hours of the morning and I didnt have a way to get home. so he was kind enough (had no choice since I passed out) to let me sleep on one of his couches. and the rest is history.:beer

Ahhh.....the day I met RD. It was a beautiful sunny day in Parker, AZ, in July of 2004 (I think that is the year) Myself, Riverdiva and a few other friends met him, Nord, badblown 572, fourspeedin up, and a few other peeps at the sandbar. :beer

Through RD and forums that he introduced me too, I have met so many great people and have made life long friendships! I have also met someone totally amazing through these boards, you know who you are!

Anything is possible, however, that fractional second between the time that he opens the bottom beer, which becomes the top, and the time that a new bottom beer is put in it's place, wouldn't be enough to blink an eye, much less strike up a conversation. I was fairly new to the site and someone had taken my lock pin off my drop hitch while in the parking lot for the day and I almost lost the boat on the way home. The only thing that saved it was the safety chain. Anyway, I had posted about it and he offered to send me a locking pin for my hitch. Thought that was pretty cool. Then somehow we both ended up being Mods and it was downhill from there LOL.

I've talked to him quite a bit over the years and felt like I really knew him but it wasn't until January 07' when I finally met he and Stacy at Twins. Very cool of them to drive all the way there so we could finally meet and have a few drinks.
