8in with 2.79's and an open carrier on it's way out to make room for a 31 spline 9in with 3.50's and a posi

14mm box end works pretty good for compressing the tabs on the parking brake cable, you have to wiggle and push/pull a little but they were removed in a couple minutes

I’ve done it. I know.

It’s amazing how strong that thin stuff with a few stringers and some glue can be.

I’ve always found it to be rewarding work. Especially when done.

The floor will need some cleaning but plastic made a pretty good paint booth. Not too may defects but will work on those later, starting wiring next.

New wheels, tires & spacers so I can run 315 wide up front. New brakes on back. Need an alignment then all set.

Got some new race car numbers for the doors and rear - need to put those on next week.

MFSOB Round up-like product changed the part per gallon mix ratio so it’s back up on the hillside to re spray.

Wife’s motivational encouragement is “ you’ll get some color on your skin from the sun and you’ll look more handsome.”

It’s going to be a long day.

have to get rid of shaker air cleaner and going to boss 429 hood scoop...
still need to clean up wiring before motor can be dropped in..

Today from early morning till 2 wiring and plumbing on the boat. After that finish putting together little SBC full roller with Brodix heads and finished up with a final paper thin coat of filler to finish up bodywork. 10+hr day.

I put a brand new one in it, the structure was good. This one is the older style 94-97. I think it was either lmc or Genos garage where I got it. Did heater core and evap. Makes for a interesting day ..
