Anyone who has ever taken an entry level programming class has worked with palindromes. I've written programs to determine the palindrome status of a sentence in over a dozen languages. It's like a right of passage when learning a new dialect.

I used to remember more palindromes but age an decades of alcohol abuse have taken out my memory and pancreas.
