I'll tell ya what I'm NOT listening to right now - Morrissey. He just cancelled his concert in Rancho Mirage tonight. I also had tix a couple years back to see him at Acoustic Christmas and he cancelled. He's dead to me at this point, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me...!

We saw him at Cruel World a few years back and he played 2 Smith's songs. I swear he pays people to jump on stage because....he's a dick, who would voluntarily do that?

We are heading out in a few minutes to Beachlife Fest for LB Dub All Stars, Skip Marley, SUSANNA HOFFS, THE PRETENDERS and Sublime with Jakob Nowell. My two fav rocker chicks - Hoffs and Hynde!

Listened to this one last night about 10 times in a row. Tom Petty and his original band Mudcrutch.

I never knew about this song and when I first heard it a few months back, it took only about 30-seconds before I Shazammed it to see who sang it, because I was like whoaaaaa....

A lot of good guitar work on it by Tom Campbell.

Looking forward to next weekend and seeing Alison Moyet. She and Vince Clark from Yaz/Yazoo were epic together.

Although she had one of the best voices of the era, and put out monster club hits, she was blacklisted because of her weight. Such a bummer...

Another oddball is Blancmange, which is a desert, pronounced "Bluh mawn jeh" or bluh maw jeh", I've heard it spoken both ways.

They too had a couple of huge club hits in the 80's.

Last week at Beachlife, Jakob Nowell/Sublime killed it. The kid is awesome and the place went insane. Crazy ass set, so much dancing and singing and fun, fun, fun. I thought they were the best band at the No Values punk festival, and this performance was even better. See them if you can!

The Germs - Richie Dagger's Crime (Music Video) I made this Germs video by using the video from Fat Boy Slim's video, "Weapon of Choice" featuring Christopher Walken. I sped the video up 100% and set it to the audio for Richie Dagger's Crime and without touching anything, the two seemed to match up almost perfectly...
