Cool thread Dave, oddly enough we just returned from similar trip in our MH from Scottsdale to glacier. We took two weeks and was incredible, I can do eight hours a day driving with wife and three kids
I’m a GC, and this is absolutely not tolerated and states in my contract the homeowner signs off on. I’m strictly based off referals (like you) and would put the stomp on this asap. My trades are aware of this and report to me if a homeowner is trying to work with them directly.
Great Video but as an expert vido reviewer for RD that sits in his recliner-
1. dunes were heavily rutted and not fun
2. The new funcos are so much better looking then the older models
3. Think everyone (including rails) should have a helmet on
4. fireworks were insane spread from the road...
I owned one of those redlines single seater then switched to a two seater redline. Super fun to drive the single seater in the dunes but a PIA to get in and out of
Built ours in 2018-
400 amp panel
solid core doors
water softener location and correct plumbing/electrical
multriple cameras around house
low volt locations planned out
christmas light plug on timer
lights/pendants locations well thought out
flood light locations
sand stucco finish
paint...
Doing mine the same way this year. Been in a brine then on the Trager stuffed tomorrow around 1pm. Wondering if should start earlier at 225 then increase temp as needed?
