Fact, where I live a gallon of regular was $2.19 the day before Biden took office. Today that same gallon of regular is $3.69. Even a dummy like me can figure that math and old Joe is once again full of shit.

I can't remember when our gas was anywhere in the 3 dollar range. I haven't found it under 5 without utilizing rewards or Costco for a long time.

Overall in my area wages are up by about 30%. Costs are up quite a bit more then that depending on what you buy. The biggest and probably the saddest increase vs stagnation is starting pay for fast food compared to a welder just out of school. Only about a $5 hr difference but the top out pay has not increased for the skilled trades. Most are union, under contract, so live with what you have. And the hires at fast food make just enough to affect their benefits, so the increase is not really noticed, except that things are more expensive and they have the same to spend as when they were not working.

Now, the inability for people to notice these little things, do not even know what to say.

I have been Thinking/Saying the same thing about California and "What Happened" there. Slowly, the "LIBS" slipped this Deal and that deal, and although it was taking a Bite, as long as everyone was Making $'s and Cash was Flowing no one cared, but finally, it became just "One Thing" too much.
