Please please please be very careful
Top #s have taken too many people
The DW's pack a ton of air.
I know you are smart
Negative trim is definitely your friend
I said the exact same thing to him before launch this morning. suggested lower nose Angle than the stock set up. MoTeC is on board, so extra weight today will make things more controlled. We want acceleration, not max top end. Everything points to fast.

In OTHER Church business…we ran the 28’ Skater 450’s today… Windsor to Bullhead. We were rolling 125-130 mph a few times. Came through Needles at 12:15….and back down thru Needles a half an hour later…we were sizzling going south!!!

DW 32’ w/450’s full fuel , 4 people , ran 120 mph…
MoTeC 450’s same situation ran 132 today. 12 mph is huge. View attachment 1499520
That was also bouncing off the limiters for 16 seconds according to the log files. 😁 Boat could have ran faster but ran out of prop which is fine.

They have put some time an effort into these kits that's for sure.

Conditions at 6:52 am….pretty nice. The wind has been mild. That being said, we are headed to fill “Big Girl” with some fuel and hit the upper river. If you see the Florida crew, stay back, as you might get trafficked. They are not only unsightly, but they need money to pay the private jets.

Smooth, quiet, LOTS of torque. I've had the I-6 400Rs, 450Rs, ad 300Rs, and these have the most felt torque.
Thanks for the feedback. They seem like a fantastic option on SO many boat but too many people are hung up on the biggest latest greatest 450 & now 500. I really like the sound of the new 400s

Watching several videos of this terrible accident you would think the trim & throttles were both stuck.
Beyond thrilled both guys survived & should recover.
I was thinking the same thing. Looks like they never let off until the props left the water. Hang time in the air saved them. From their website it looks like first shootout for that boat.

We ran to Bullhead again today…
Water was nice and weather was cool and beautiful! We took the hot rod Skater with 450’s and because I’m the Reverend of this fine Church, I got to drive this speed demon 28’ Skater.
Bully had another 28’ Skater with 300 XS engines, but the two boats couldn’t have been more different. The XS boat had many more issues due to lack of power. The 450’s tighten this boat up a lot. Rides great full of fuel…the smaller engines hated full fuel. Everything works better on this new 450 boat. The boat is fast, responsive , and it takes a bunch of seat time to make it perform properly. I REALLY like it!!!

The weight isn't an issue?

More of todays run at Parker. Unfortunately, the strip isn’t very long. We ran up and down several times and had a visit to the friendly folks at Roadrunner. Water was beautiful, but only one unit, so getting to the dam as kinda’ sketchy. We pulled it off. Bully is a part time cartel boat driver. Not much bothers him. 😁
We’ve been watching Scarface tonight… what an awesome movie. Pacino’s finest hour.

We prepped the Cirrus this evening for tomorrow’s flight home. What a great week it was. “ saw some old friends, good for the soul”
Big thanks to Bully for having me out to the Storm every year. It is the highlight of my year.
Flying to Henderson executive , then to Vegas and jump a Southwest back to reality.

Is that a 318 with 450’s? In a way it looks like it, but most 318’s I feel like don’t have those lines and are usually nose high in the water. I looked on Skater’s website and oddly enough they show an outboard 368 with the same exact seats.
