Thanks. It’s a blessing and a curse. Everyone is leaving California, and I agree that it’s the only sane thing to do. But how can I leave my tribe? Hell, my daughter just had our first grandkid, and her husband works for the local water company. I’m not leaving this now. I’m looking forward to every second of baby Josephine’s life up here.

It’s even worse for me. Mom, brothers, cousins, at least 20 best friends I’ve known my entire life. Hell, my last name is on the damn ball field that my dad built.
