PTSD from the House Boat still?

This was our first DS in 4 years. 4 years ago I swore I’d never be back. Lake looked like the 405 total shit show everywhere so I was like I’m over this shit. It’s as bad as 4th of July or memorial (which we avoid like the plague too)

Against better judgment, we went this year because my kids had spring break this weekend were begging to go. So, I was like fuck it. We’ll try it again.

We had fun for sure. But most of the fun was when we were out about alone or cruising around with my buddy Justin. Pirates was ok on Friday and Saturday we sat in a cove out by 3 dunes with a couple other boats but way chill. So, good weekend. But DS event itself? Meh. Not impressed. Street show is like walking the county fair. It’s packed and loud and a mess. The lake during the poker run is a mess. and while the wind doesn’t really bother me at all when we’re running, docking anchoring in it sucks

And The channel? Jesus, we ran back from the cove Saturday around four ran around the island and started to cruise through the channel…FUUUUUH! Bad choice. Turned around half way through and went back out. It was grid lock and dipshittery EVERYWHERE.

So, again, I’m done with DS. catch me in another 4 years and maybe I’ll brave it again but probably not. lol. For us it’s all about SCFW for life!!!

I was thinking about you out there, Brother! I remember me driving my buddies 35 on a windy day, all that bow up front is like an unwanted bow thruster with the wind! Scared the shit out of me.

Why don’t the two of you get a room. By the way, got to say both of your boats are badass!!!!

Sadly I didn’t get on the water for one reason or another. Was bummed at the time but thankful at the moment with all that went on. I still had a blast and like the event and meeting people. I still look forward to next year as we hone the game plan and I am good if it is not on the water. I do have to say I was bummed that we didn’t get not he water yesterday. We did ride our motorcycles to lunch at the Naked Turtle and enjoyed the setting even if not in our boat.

Wait a minute. A rental in Lake Havasu is registered in MT? Man, I can't wait until the state gets their crap together to put an end to this b.s.

Edit: I'm not opposed to having the Montana LLC, I just want the state to charge these LLCs triple the registration . . . annually. It would still be cheaper than whatever state taxes they are trying to avoid. Or not. Whatever.
